Our negotiator met with NAV CANADA to discuss when members will begin seeing salary adjustments and retroactive pay.

December 19, 2018

The majority of PSAC members working for NAV CANADA have voted to accept a new collective agreement.

Members met in ratification meetings across the country December 3 – 19 to learn about the full details contained in the new contract and to vote on its acceptance.

November 30, 2018

Each region will be hosting a ratification session where members can review the tentative agreement, ask questions, and then vote on whether they want to accept the new contract.

PSAC’s negotiating team reached a tentative agreement with NAV CANADA last evening. This affects just over 300 members working at NAV CANADA locations across the country.

PSAC and the Union of Canadian Transportation Employees (UCTE) applied for conciliation in October to encourage the employer to come back to the table with an improved mandate to reach a tentative agreement for member

The Public Service Alliance of Canada is applying for conciliation to the Minister of Labour to assign a federal conciliator to assist in reaching a tentative agreement for UCTE members working at NAV CANADA.

Alongside a mediator, the PSAC bargaining team met with NAV CANADA in Ottawa on August 27 and 28.

Our bargaining team met with the employer July 3 – 6 in Ottawa to continue negotiations.

May 29, 2018

Our NAV CAN bargaining team continued negotiations May 7 - 11, 2018 in Ottawa.

Our bargaining team is very pleased with the progress made during this round of negotiations. The employer and our team tackled and resolved many non-monetary proposals.
